Created in 1995, the Association of the Descendants of Gustave Eiffel (ADGE) brings together the descendants of Gustave Eiffel, as well now as sympathizing members from the public, in order to :
- promote the memory of the great engineer and scientist,
- defend his image and the patronymic “Gustave Eiffel” against abusive uses,
- defend and preserve the works of Gustave Eiffel to ensure their long term existence.

It is presently chaired by Myriam Larnaudie-Eiffel (President) & Savin Yeatman-Eiffel (VP), and regroups about fifty descendants of Gustave Eiffel, i.e. the large majority of Eiffel’s descendants.

The means of action of the ADGE are in particular:

  • the organization, and assistance to the preparation, of any demonstration, conference, exhibition, catalog, movie, book with a cultural or scientific character reminding the historic and scientific role played by Gustave Eiffel in metallic construction, aerodynamics and meteorology

  • the preparation and the update of a reasoned catalog of the works conducted by Gustave Eiffel

  • the defense of the image of Gustave Eiffel and of his patronymic, including via legal means

  • the relation with the public authorities and with all entities, economical or cultural, French or foreign, that have a link with Gustave Eiffel.

  • actions to defend and preserve the works constructed by Gustave Eiffel
